Ms. Catina Wadley

Ms. Wadley joined the GMS family as Assistant Principal in August 2022.  She started working in the Gadsden City School system in 2004 at Litchfield High School.  From 2006-2013, she was the Business Education teacher at Emma Sansom Middle School.  In 2013, she joined Gadsden City High School as a Business Education teacher.  She was the FBLA sponsor, as well as being head coach of JV cheer since 2006.  She has also been lead teacher for ESMS afterschool program since 2008, where she was named Site Director of the Year for the state of Alabama for the 2021-2022 school year.  Ms. Wadley earned her B.S. degree in Marketing as well as her Master’s from Jacksonville State University.  In 2018, she attended University of Alabama, where she received her Master’s in Educational Leadership and in spring of 2023 will obtain her Ed.S. in Educational Leadership.  Ms. Wadley loves to travel, especially since she attended high school in Germany and loves spending time with her daughter, Chelsea, and grandson, Clay.  She is an avid sports fanatic and loves college football.
