Blake Worthy

Hi! I’m Coach Blake Worthy, and I teach 8th Grade Social Studies at Gadsden Middle School. As a proud graduate of Gadsden City High School, I’m excited to have the opportunity to give back to the community that helped shape me.

In my classroom, I believe students learn best when they are challenged, engaged, and having fun. My goal is to create a positive classroom environment where students feel comfortable participating, asking questions, working together, and connecting history to the world around them. I hold my students to high expectations while encouraging them to grow academically and personally throughout the school year.

Outside of the classroom, I also enjoy coaching football and spending time with my family. I’m excited for a great year of learning, growth, and memorable experiences with my students!
