Ashlen Hawkins

Ashlen Hawkins is a Fine Arts Teacher serving students at Gadsden Middle School, Litchfield Middle School, Eura Brown Elementary School, and Mitchell Elementary School. She began her teaching career in 2025 and is passionate about helping students discover their creativity and develop confidence through art.

Ashlen earned her Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design with a minor in Photography from Troy University and her Master of Fine Arts in Visual Communication from Jacksonville State University. Before beginning her K–12 teaching career, she worked at Jacksonville State University as a Dual Enrollment Student Success Coach and as an adjunct instructor in Design and Art.

With a background in graphic design, photography, visual communication, and higher education, Ashlen brings a diverse creative perspective to her classroom. She believes that every student is an artist and strives to provide an environment where students can explore, create, express themselves, and develop a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
