Kevin S. Peterson
Mr. Peterson has been at Gadsden Middle School since 2004, where he received the honor of Teacher of the Year for the 2012-2013 school year. In 2017, Mr. Peterson became the Media Specialist after teaching 8th grade Physical Science for 13 years. In addition to being the Media Specialist, Mr. Peterson sponsors the GMS Disney Imagination Campus and GMS Universal Studios Youth Programs field trips. Mr. Peterson is also a member of the many committees at Gadsden Middle School including the Leadership Team and Hospitality Committee.
Mr. Peterson is a graduate of Auburn University with a B.S. in Biology Education and the University of West Alabama with a Master’s in Library Media and an Education Specialist degree in Leadership.
Mr. Peterson is a native of Smiths Station, AL and currently resides in Boaz with his wife Ann Marie (3rd grade teacher at Eura Brown Elementary) and three children Samuel, Micah, and Addison Kate.
