Mrs. Hester began her teaching career as the Choir Director at Gadsden Middle School in 2024. She also teaches elementary music at Striplin Elementary and Thompson Elementary. Mrs. Hester graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Music Education from Jacksonville State University. During her time at JSU, Mrs. Hester enjoyed being involved with the Marching Southerners, Chamber Singers, and the JSU Opera Theatre. Having grown up in Gadsden, Mrs. Hester is thankful to be teaching in the same school system she grew up in. It’s great to be a GMS Tiger!
