Claire Hearn

Ms. Claire Hearn has taught 8th-grade Language at Gadsden Middle School since 2014 and had the honor of being selected GMS’s Teacher of the Year in 2017. She is co-sponsor of the Builder’s Club and the Tiger Times newspaper, and she coordinates the 8th-grade spelling bee and Patriot’s Pen essay contest. Ms. Hearn holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education with a concentration in English from Jacksonville State University, as well as a master’s degree in English Education from University of West Alabama.
