Shelly Mason

Mrs. Mason has been teaching since 2016. She taught high school history for four years before becoming an EL Teacher. She services our EL students at Gadsden Middle and Striplin Elementary School. Mrs. Mason graduated from Jacksonville State University with her B.S. in Secondary Education History. She then went on and pursued her M.A. in English as a Second Language from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In May of 2022, Mrs.Mason received her add-on certificate in Instructional Leadership from the University of West Alabama. Mrs. Mason was born and raised in Gadsden, AL. She currently resides on Noccalula Mountain with her husband, who is also an educator, Miles. Mrs. Mason looks forward to helping and working with the students at Gadsden Middle. Go Tigers!
