Brian Bankston – composer, educator, saxophonist and guitarist – has been the Band Director at Gadsden Middle School and Jazz Band Director at Gadsden City High School since 2002. He is a staff composer for RWS music and his concert and jazz works are performed by schools all over the world. He also performs with the Tyn Tymes, the Liz Wood Project, Jeremy Jackson Band and many more. Mr. Bankston received a Master of Music in Saxophone performance with a concentration in Composition and Jazz Studies from Eastern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Music Education from Jacksonville State University.
